7th National Summit on e-Governance : Scaling the Next Phase of Inclusive Growth
ASSOCHAM in association with the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India, other concerned Ministries, State Governments and the Industry will be organizing the 7th National Summit on E-Governance on the 27th August 2010 at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi
With the commitment of the Government of India to leverage technology and improve service delivery to common man, experts expect the E-Governance to reach the next level. The Centre and the State Governments propose to spend US$ 10 billion over the next five years with PPP to implement the e-governance plan.
The various e-governance projects are being made commercially viable to attract larger Industry participation for further broad basing the services for the benefit of the common man. The success of Government Programmes such as as CSC, NREGA, UIDAI will lie in their implementation to the last mile and accountability for the common man.
ASSOCHAM has so far successfully organized six National Summits on e-Governance.
