Britains leading newspaper The Guardian has launched an Online Financial Inclusion hub for global development professionals in partnership with Centre for Financial Inclusion at Accion.
The Guardian Financial Inclusion hub is sponsored by Visa and will consist of a curated website which will publish the latest insights and news from the financial inclusion space and at the same time connect all the different organizations and professionals working in the sector from companies as diverse as telecom, mobile app developers, micro-finance institutions etc who are working in the financial inclusion space.
Commenting on the launch, Eliza Anyangwe editor of the Global Development Professionals Network said that this three month campaign will publish the best practices and drive learning in this sector and at the end of the campaign, a Financial Inclusion Manifesto will be published.
