IBPS PO Exam Pattern
These exams are conducted in three stages which are-
1. Preliminary Examination (first stage)
The first stage which is Prelims has three sections, which are-
- English Language section which consists of 30 questions for 30 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude, it has 35 questions of 35 marks
- Reasoning Ability consists of again 35 questions for 35 marks
In total the exam is of 100 marks and you get 20 minutes to complete each section.
2. Mains (second stage)

- Reasoning and Computer Aptitude in this you would have 45 questions in the question paper which would be for 60 marks and you would get 60 minutes to complete this exam
- General Awareness exam has 40 questions which are for 40 marks and you get 35 minutes to complete this exam
- Data Analysis & Interpretation comprises of 35 questions for 60 marks and you get 40 minutes to complete the question paper
- English Language, this exam has 35 questions of 40 marks and the exam time is of 45 minutes
There is one additional exam as well in the mains which are English Descriptive Test, which has just 2 questions in it which are for 25 marks.

3. Personal Interview (third stage)
