Social Entrepreneur of the Year – India 2014 awards

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation and Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship are pleased to announce the’Social Entrepreneur of the Year'(SEOY)Award for 2014 for India. Applicants are invited to participate and share their innovation. The deadline for receiving first round applications is May 31, 2014.

Finalists will be selected following an intensive search and selection process, including expert reviews and site visits. The winner will be announced at a high-profile award celebration in November 2014.

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation joined hands with the Schwab Foundation starting in the year 2010 for the SEOY Award in India. Last year, Ms Chetna Sinha from Mann Deshi Group of Ventures was awarded the Social Entrepreneur of the Year India 2013 by the Finance Minister of India, Shri P Chidambaram.

The other three finalists included Ms Mallika Dutt from Breakthrough, Dr Shelly Batra from Operation Asha and Mr Kishor & Ms Mrinalini Kher from Yuva Parivartan. The winners are selected by a prominent Jury consisting of Eminent Professionals from different walks of life.
