Sa-Dhan to conduct National Level Workshops to Re-fabricate Microfinance in the Changed Scenario
The present Microfinance crisis has called for a paradigm shift in the ways of using microfinance as a tool against poverty. The crisis, unfortunately, seems to encourage critics who question MFI Governance, business model, transparency level and the MFI practice on the ground.
The practitioners and networks are making all out efforts to extricate the sector from the crisis. Sa-Dhan, on its part, has been disseminating its Code of Conduct across states through workshops; engaging with RBI- Malegam Committee, banks, government etc; constituting state forums to ease the situation.
Sa-Dhan welcomes its members, practitioners, CEOs and CFOs of MFIs, NGOs, SHPIs, bankers, auditors to take part in the discussion.
Please choose preferred workshop-location, fill in the registration form attached and confirm participation before 12th January, 2011 as the no. of seats is limited. The registration for Sa-Dhan members is free. (Rs.2000/participant for non-members)
