In an interview with CNBC TV-18, Narayan Murthy reveals why he won’t be meeting the worlds most powerful man – the President of the United States, Barack Obama.
US President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama are scheduled to begin their tour of India from the 6th of November 2010 and their trip will last until the 9th November 2010.
He also futher elaborates on whether Cataraman will continue with it’s investment in SKS Microfinance. Catamaran Management Services Pvt Ltd is the venture fund started by Infosys founder Narayan Murthy.Early this year it made it’s first investment in SKS Microfinance which has a lock-in period of two years.
The comments on SKS Microfinance appear at 5:00 minutes into the interview. Narayan Murthy also reveals details about how the succession process is going on in Infosys and who could probably replace him once he retires next year.
