HYDERABAD: Nabard Chief General Manager KV Raghavulu said the Bank would disburse about Rs 1,600 crore to the State under RID F projects.Already, Rs 1,770 crore was disbursed to Cooperative Banks under Dr Vaidyanathan Committee packages for restructuring Cooperatives in the State.
He said Nabard would also disburse Rs 1,370 crore to Cooperatives and Regional Rural Banks for crop loans. The bank would also help about 2,500 farmers’ clubs by allotting Rs 10,000 to each club besides providing professional training to about 400 directors of the District Cooperative Central Banks. About Rs 1,900 crore would also be provided as refinance to banks for investment purposes, Raghavulu said.
Earlier the Nabard CGM met Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and discussed matters pertaining to agriculture and rural development.
