Is a good project a good investment ? is the central question at the Microfinance & Impact Investing Conference organised by ALFI in partnership with LUXFlag, the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP) and the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN).
- Does the aim of achieving a double bottom line force investors to assume higher risks?
- Does the impact investment sector have the critical size to offer investors financially attractive investment opportunities as well as adequate exit strategies?
- Is impact investing a fully fledged investment strategy or just the icing on the cake?
- How can investors effectively measure the actual social or environmental impact of their investments?
These questions, and many more, will be addressed at ALFI’s Microfinance & Impact Investing Conference by high-level experts from national and supra-national organisations, banks and asset management companies, investment funds and Microfinance Institutions.
The conference will take place in the presence of HRH the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg (tbc), and opened by a speech of HE Romain Schneider, Minister in charge of cooperation.
The event is being organized on Tuesday 27th May, 2014 at the Centre Culturel Tramsschapp, Limpertsberg, Luxembourg
