Marico Social Innovation Acceleration Programme 2014

The Marico Innovation Foundation is accepting applications from Social Enterprises and Social Entrepreneurs for it’s 4th Batch of incubatees for it’s Social Innovation Accelerator.

The Social Innovation Acceleration Programme plays a catalytic role and helps social organizations innovate and scale up their operations.

The Foundation has mentored the following 8 organizations in the past two years. The first three organizations in the list below have successfully completed the program while the remaining five continue to develop their business models and are still part of the accelerator.

Organizations selected for the challenge will benefit from the network and team of Marico Foundation who will guide the organizations in innovation and perfecting their models by using an acceleration framework, which consists of

    More than half of the rural population is women. And the major population among these rural Women are participating in House hold work, various social, cultural and economical barriers are the major reasons of Women not getting involved in Income Generation Activities and also they are unable to use their individual savings which they generally use as a financial support for their livelihood. Even if Women are skilled and capable to lead the family, due to the above mentioned barriers, they are unable to contribute economically, to the Growth of the Family and the Society.

    Rendering Continuous and Qualitative Financial Services to the poor women to improve their Quality of life through social transformation activities and integrating the communities to create unity and courage

     Encourage thrift, self help and mutual aid among members and afford all facilities for cultivating the habit of thrift and saving among members in accordance with the principles of co-operation.
