Sa-Dhan Livelihood Education Programme 2011 at SKDRDP

Sa-Dhan is pleased to announce its “Livelihood Expedition 2011” in association with its member – SKDRDP, being held from 22 to 26 March, 2011 ( Five Days: Tuesday- Saturday).

The program encompasses technical inputs as well as field exposure. It is a blend of classroom sessions and exposure visit to the SKDRDP project location. The classroom sessions will provide livelihood financing approaches, tools, framework etc, while the field exposure will demonstrate the feasibility of micro-financing livelihoods. It will also facilitate cross-learning opportunity among the participants.

The Livelihood Education Program is meant for senior and middle management staff from MFIs, Self Help Promoting Institutions, Livelihood Promoting Organizations, Capacity building institutions and other development practitioners from across the country.
The Program Brochure and nomination form are attached. We seek early nominations from interested Sa-Dhan members and others to participate in the programme, preferably before 15 March, 2011, to make necessary logistic arrangements. The nomination form may be filled in and sent to Since the number of seats is limited, the nominations would be confirmed on the first–come-first served basis only.

Registration Fees

Sa-Dhan has fixed a very nominal registration fee. The following is the fee for the entire 5-day programme inclusive of all (boarding, lodging, field trip and training kit).

  • Rs. 5000/- for participants from non-member of Sa-Dhan.
  • Rs. 3000/- for participants from members of Sa-Dhan.

The mode of payment will be Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Sa-Dhan” payable at New Delhi.
