Infosys Technologies Ltd’s founder N.R. Narayana Murthy who has founded a Rs 600 crore venture capital fund by the name of Catamaran Investment Pvt. Ltd is likely to make its first investment in SKS Microfinance Ltd, SKS Microfinance will be the first Indian microfinance institution to hit the market with an initial public offering (IPO) this year.

(As per market sources who do not wish to be named SKS Microfinance is yet to file its DRHP with SEBI but its IPO is expected to open in 3-4 months time with an issue size that could between Rs 2000-3000 Crore and a price band that could vary between Rs 500-Rs 800 per share .)
